Therapist – Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:

Provide supportive physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to patients of all ages. Assist in implementing treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall functional ability.

Responsibilities:

• Administer selected components of patient care based on established treatment protocols.
• Collect and document data related to patient progress and response to treatments.
• Collaborate closely with the physical therapist to modify care plans as needed.
• Support patient education on therapeutic exercises and self-care techniques.
• Ensure all documentation complies with regulatory and facility standards.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active PTA license recognized in Ohio or a compact license.
• Possess at least 1 year of PTA experience, with LTC or SNF experience preferred.
• Maintain current CPR/BLS certification through AHA.
• Submit a professional skills checklist within 1 year and at least 0-1 reference at submission.
• Demonstrate proficiency in clinical documentation and patient care procedures.
