Physical Therapist Assistant – Home Health (Part Time) | Rehab Solutions

New Orleans, LA (East Bank - Jefferson & Orleans Parish Area).

We are looking for a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to deliver flexible, autonomous home health care to patients in the New Orleans community.

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists.
• Provide direct patient care including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modality applications.
• Monitor and document patient progress, report observations to the Physical Therapist, and educate patients and families on treatment protocols, exercises, and self‑care techniques.
• Accurately document patient treatments, progress, and responses in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Work closely with Physical Therapists, other healthcare professionals, and support staff to ensure coordinated patient care and effective treatment outcomes.

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic, and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in using diagnostic tools, therapy equipment, relevant software, and electronic health record systems.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
