Program Coordinator - Bollinger County Health Center

Bollinger County Health Center is seeking a motivated, community-focused professional to serve as Program Coordinator for the Building Communities for Better Health (BCBH) initiative. This position coordinates community-based chronic disease prevention efforts and works with local partners to promote healthier living.

• Coordinate prevention efforts related to tobacco/vaping, physical activity, healthy eating and other health risks.
• Manage BCBH grant planning, implementation, reporting and documentation.
• Support a multi-sector community coalition and engage residents through outreach and listening sessions.
• Collaborate with community partners on policy, systems and environmental initiatives.
• Provide health education and represent the health department at community events and meetings.
• Occasional overnight travel and evening/weekend work required.

• Bachelor's degree in public health, health education, health promotion, or a closely related field.
• Ability to engage community members and collaborate with partners.
• Strong communication and organizational skills

• Experience with community-based programs, coalition work, or grant-funded projects.
• Familiarity with policy, systems, and environmental approaches to health.
