Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – Weekend/Alternative Schedule
Schedule: Part-time, 2 days per week (Saturday–Sunday), 7:00 PM–7:30 AM
Hours: 24 hours per week
Compensation: $35/hr - $55/hr. + $5,000 Sign on bonus
We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (Vascular and General) to perform high-quality diagnostic and specialized ultrasound imaging in an academic medical center environment. The role involves performing general and vascular studies, supporting physicians with advanced imaging procedures, and providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
- ARDMS or ARRT (Sonography) certification upon hire or within 12 months
- RVT/VT certification upon hire or within 12 months
- Current BCLS certification
- Strong communication, teamwork, and independent working skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient positioning
- Computer proficiency and ability to work with patients across the lifespan
Preferred: Experience or interest in vascular imaging, teaching/mentoring, or quality improvement.
