Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Missouri Department of Corrections.
We are currently seeking a full-time Level 1 Med Aide (L1MA) or Certified Med Tech (CMT) to join our team at South Central Correctional Center located in Licking, Missouri.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required.
- L1MA’s - preferred to have current active Level 1 Medication Aide certification & Insulin certification from the Department of Health and Senior Services (DHSS) or the Department of Mental Health (DMH) which may also be referred to as DD Medication Aide ().
- CMT’s – required to have current active status of Certified Medication Technician (CMT), Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) and Insulin certification on the Missouri State Registry ().
- Must complete required continuing education to maintain certification (minimum of four (4) hours of medication administration training every two (2) years). Required training will be documented and maintained in Employee File. Must maintain current tuberculosis documentation and active CPR/AED certification.
- If not already Level 1 Medication Aide certified – applicant must successfully complete internal level one medication aide and insulin training to maintain employment beyond probationary period.
- Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain agency security clearance where applicable.
- One year experience in acute care, emergency or correctional setting preferred.
Available Shift: Days, 4:30am-5:10pm, 3-12s and every other weekend or Days 4:30am-3:00pm, 4-10s and every other weekend.
