Tech Echo​/Ultrasound​/Sonographer

Job Summary:

Operates ultrasound equipment to perform cardiac and vascular imaging procedures, including Echos, TEEs, Stress Echos, and Bubble Studies. Provides diagnostic imaging to support patient care across various hospital departments.

Responsibilities:

• Conducts efficient and accurate ultrasound exams, including TTEs, TEEs, and Stress Echos.
• Maintains high-quality imaging standards and ensures proper documentation in EMR/PACS systems.
• Coordinates with nursing staff and physicians to prioritize and schedule procedures.
• Performs equipment calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting to ensure optimal functionality.
• Provides training and orientation to new staff and technologists as needed.
• Adheres to safety protocols and infection control policies during all procedures.

Qualifications:

• Holds a valid Registered Cardiac Sonographer certification with at least 2 years of experience preferred.
• Demonstrates proficiency in cardiac and vascular sonography techniques.
• Possesses knowledge of Meditech, ScImage, PiCom, and related imaging systems.
• Exhibits excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Maintains current CPR and healthcare provider certifications.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, 7:00 am – 3:30 pm, with on-call rotation.
