Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) – Critical Access Hospital

The Occupational Therapist will evaluate and treat patients throughout the hospital's Inpatient, Swing Bed, and Outpatient programs
.

Responsibilities may include evaluations and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, ADL retraining, upper-extremity strengthening, coordination and ROM activities, functional mobility and transfer training, adaptive equipment recommendations, safety education, and patient and caregiver training.

You'll collaborate closely with PT, PTA, SLP, nursing, physicians, case management, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to help patients achieve their highest possible level of independence.

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program
• Current Louisiana OT license or ability to obtain prior to start
• Current BLS certification
• Strong evaluation and treatment skills
• Comfortable treating patients across multiple settings
• Hospital, inpatient, swing bed, skilled rehab, or outpatient experience preferred
• Strong communication and documentation skills
