Our Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) receive ongoing clinical support, accessible BCBA supervision, and the resources needed to succeed. As an RBT / Registered Behavior Technician
, you will work directly with clients while implementing individualized treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Hourly Pay

$20–$30 per hour

Compensation for a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) may vary based on location, experience, availability, and individual case assignment.

Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Qualifications & Skills
  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Reliable transportation
  • Dependable and professional
  • Ability to interact, engage, and have fun with children and individuals with developmental disabilities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Desire to learn and grow as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
  • Willingness to receive ongoing feedback and BCBA supervision
  • Ability to work independently while following a BCBA-developed treatment plan
  • Commitment to providing high‑quality ABA therapy
Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Responsibilities

As a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with Hope Harbor ABA, your responsibilities may include:

  • Provide high‑quality, interactive ABA therapy directly to clients
  • Deliver one‑on‑one ABA services in the client’s home, school, and/or community
  • Implement ABA treatment plans developed by a supervising BCBA
  • Work directly with clients to increase independence and develop important life skills
  • Help clients develop communication skills, daily living skills, toileting skills, social skills, emotional regulation skills, play skills, and vocational skills
  • Teach new communication skills and appropriate replacement behaviors using evidence‑based ABA techniques
  • Follow behavior intervention plans and treatment protocols
  • Accurately collect and record ABA session data
  • Complete detailed and timely session notes
  • Communicate with the supervising BCBA regarding client progress
  • Reliably attend scheduled RBT therapy sessions
  • Participate in ongoing Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training and supervision
  • Maintain professional and ethical standards as a Registered Behavior Technician
