Location: Louisiana
This position serves as the Microbiology Compliance Manager within Louisiana's Safe Drinking Water Program, overseeing public water systems' compliance with federal and state regulations including the Safe Drinking Water Act. The role directs determinations, provides consultation to district and regional offices, prepares regulations, and delivers training to staff and water system operators across multiple parishes. The position reports to the SDWP Compliance Manager and is located within the Louisiana Department of Health's Office of Public Health.
Keyqualifications:
- Current Louisiana Sanitarian's license
- Five years of experience as a sanitarian OR master's degree in public health/food science/environmental science plus four years as a sanitarian
- Two years of experience at supervisory level or above
