The Physical Therapy Assistant (Outpatient npatient) works under the supervision of leadership and treats patients in a variety of modalities, educate the family/patient, and assures continuity of treatment. Responsible for all necessary documentation as required by accepted medical guidelines.

• Treats patients using a variety of modalities and procedures under treatment plan formulated by a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Provides patient/family education.
• Documents patients’ response to treatment program, communicates with providers, Physical Therapist, and other interdisciplinary team members, and inputs charges as appropriate.
• Participates in staff meetings, family conferences and interdisciplinary team meetings, as appropriate.
• Participates in continual process improvement.
• Other duties as assigned

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program.
  
  - Required

• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Licensed in state of Missouri.
  
  - Required within 60 Days Or
• Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) - Compact State License
  - Required Upon Hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required Upon Hire

• Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed.
