Position Summary
Operates MRI scanner to produce images of the patient's body for diagnostic purposes. Provides leadership and technical support to MRI services, assuring that services are provided within professional standards and with excellent customer service. Is responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team and performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values. Willing to cross‑train into MRI with no MRI experience.
Education,Experience, & Licensing Requirements
Education:
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
Licensure:
If graduate of an MRI technology program, must hold current certification in radiology with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. If holding ARRT(R), certification in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT(MR)) is required to be completed within one year of hire.
