As a Speech‑Language Pathologist, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, addressing speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive‑communication needs to help patients improve function and overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques.
- Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care.
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately.
- Stay current with best practices and advances in speech‑language pathology.
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid state SLP license (Missouri).
- CCC‑SLP from ASHA preferred.
- Prior speech therapy experience preferred; new graduates welcome.
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and patient‑care skills.
- CPR certification preferred.
PRN (as-needed) role with flexible scheduling options in a Skilled Nursing Facility. Ability to work independently and provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care.
