As a Speech‑Language Pathologist, you will:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders
- Address speech, language, voice, fluency, and cognitive‑communication needs
- Help patients improve function and overall quality of life
- Conduct evaluations for speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs
- Provide therapy for articulation, cognitive‑communication, and swallowing
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies and techniques
- Collaborate with OTs, PTs, physicians, and nursing staff for comprehensive care
- Document patient progress and update treatment plans accurately
- Stay current with best practices and advances in speech‑language pathology
- Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology (accredited program)
- Valid state SLP license
- CCC‑SLP from ASHA preferred
- Prior speech therapy experience preferred (new grads welcome)
- Strong communication, problem‑solving, and patient‑care skills
- CPR certification preferred
- PRN (as‑needed) role with flexible scheduling options
- Skilled Nursing Facility
- Ability to work independently and provide high‑quality, evidence‑based care
