- Ensure for the personal care and appearance of all clients.
- Ensure that the living environment remains safe, comfortable, clean and supportive to the clients’ needs.
- Implement daily program activities as directed on the facility program schedule.
- Have knowledge of and implement the Individual Service Plan for each client. Must be familiar with all objectives as written by the facility Interdisciplinary Team.
- Communicate with the facility QIDP regarding client progress and needs.
- Must have knowledge of clients’ rights and must protect and advocate for these rights.
- Must attend all required inservice training sessions and staff meetings. A minimum of 3 hours of inservice training per month is required.
- Communicate all health related issues in a timely fashion to the licensed nurses and/or Director of Nurses.
- Must have knowledge of how to respond to emergency situations.
- Monitor and provide proper maintenance for clients’ personal properties, including clothing, toiletries and other personal belongings.
- Must complete all documentation as required. Documentation includes, but is not limited to charting for Activities of Daily Living, IPP objectives and behavior data.
- Must report to work promptly and as scheduled.
- Must appear at work well groomed and appropriately dressed.
- Must observe all safety, health and infection control standards.
- Must adhere to facility policy and procedures at all times.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
