Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our team of professionals at the Ash Grove Family Medical Center in Ash Grove, Missouri — someone who leads with skill, compassion, and a drive to positively impact every patient and family we serve.
What Your Day Looks Like:In this role, you will work with residents to provide therapies aimed at improving cognitive, speech, and language deficits.
As a Speech Therapist, you will be:- Establishing an effective plan of care using appropriate skills for evaluation and screening
- Communicating effectively with patients, caregivers, physicians, and others
- Writing clear, concise, legible documentation that includes appropriate information for care planning
- Developing and implementing treatment plans that lead to optimal patient outcomes
- Utilizing equipment, supplies, and procedures appropriate to achieve intended outcomes
Education:
Graduation from an accredited college or university with a Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology.

Experience:
1 year of experience preferred
- Licensure/Certification:
Licensed by the Missouri Board of Registration for the Healing Arts;
Current State of Missouri Speech Language Pathologist License - Skills:
Problem-solving, planning and time-management, verbal and non-verbal communication, basic computer skills, ability to work independently, and listening skills - Physical Requirements:
Stamina to sit for prolonged periods, walk and move frequently, and lift up to 20 lbs.
