Join a dynamic healthcare team as a Sonographer, performing diagnostic ultrasound procedures to produce high-quality images for interpretation.
Key Responsibilities Include- Setting up and adjusting equipment, maneuvering transducers for various exams.
- Implementing safety standards and quality control procedures.
- Performing routine and complex imaging studies, recognizing structures, artifacts, and pathology.
- Ensuring equipment functionality, reporting issues, and submitting images promptly to PACS.
- Maintaining a clean, organized department and adhering to regulatory compliance.
- Supporting other duties as assigned to ensure departmental efficiency.
- Completion of a Sonography program.
- At least two ARDMS or CCI registries in Abdomen, OB/GYN, Breast, Echo, or Vascular.
- Current BLS certification.
Physical Requirements
- Constant standing, walking, reaching, and lifting (0-50 lbs).
- Excellent vision, depth perception, hearing, and communication skills.
- Ability to perform repetitive movements and ensure patient safety.
- Valid ARDMS or CCI credentials in relevant specialties.
- Additional certifications for specialized imaging (e.g., Fetal Echocardiography, Musculoskeletal).
