Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Medication Technician to join our team at Scenic Wellness Nursing & Rehabilitation in Herculaneum, MO. As a Medication Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the health and well-being of our residents by administering prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with state regulations. As a Certified Medication Technician, you will be responsible for:

• Administering prescribed medications and treatments as defined by state regulations in accordance with approved techniques and noting time and amount on resident's chart.
• Verifying identity of resident receiving medication and recording name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms and records.
• Presenting medication to residents and observing ingestion or other application, or administering medication, using specified procedures.
• Performing any miscellaneous work assignments as may be required.

• Certified as required by state law.
• Previous experience in long-term care preferred.
