Optimizes care for patients by promoting a collaborative, safe, and effective team environment with other key stakeholders. In the Specialist’s area of expertise, they perform formulary reviews, medication and lab monitoring, and actively perform interventions. The Pharmacy Specialist also helps with training and education of students, pharmacy residents, and other members of the healthcare team as appropriate. We are looking for a clinically trained Pharmacist to work as a Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in a float role.
This role will cover all inpatient areas including but not limited to inpatient floors, ICUs, and the Emergency department. The hours will change based on the area being covered at that time.
- Education:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy required. - Experience:
Minimum two (2) years of pharmacist experience in an inpatient setting (preferred) - Licensure:
Active licensure as a Registered Pharmacist in the State of Missouri with medication therapy services (MTS) certification, in good standing, required. Completion of an Accredited Pharmacy Residence OR Certification from the Board of Pharmacy Specialties
