Position: Rehab Aide
Location: Florissant, MO FLOAT
- Must be willing to FLOAT to any of the 10 different Day Institutes.
Type of Employment: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00A-4:30P
Compensation: $18/Hour
- Increases based on experience.

In this role, you will assist our therapists in carrying out our rehabilitation procedures and play an integral role in supporting our center operations.

- Lifts patients to/from mats, treatment and tilt tables, wheelchairs, and other equipment appropriate to the facility/department.
- Assists patients with transfer activities to all surfaces.
- Assists patients in donning/doffing all appliances specific to the facility/department.
- Positions patients in parallel bars and prepares patients for standing with appropriate orthotic/prosthetic devices and equipment.
- Transports patients to/from therapy as needed.
- Assists therapist with other patient-related treatment activities as appropriate and provides equipment.
- Assist with patient-related activities, including equipment set-up and patient positioning in preparation for therapy session as outlined in the State Practice Act.
- Maintains the department and department equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- High school diploma or GED
- Current State Driver's License in good standing required
- Class E license allowing for the operation of the shuttle bus prior to start date.
- CPR certification
- First aid certification
- Prior experience in an outpatient physical therapy center
