Role Overview :Seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist with hand therapy experience to provide outpatient evaluation and treatment in a multidisciplinary setting. The role involves developing individualized treatment plans, educating patients and families, collaborating with healthcare providers, and delegating tasks to assistants and students. The therapist will utilize clinical guidelines, participate in staff development, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement treatment plans considering discharge needs and equipment requirements.
- Educate and consult with patients, families, and healthcare teams, recommending referrals when necessary.
- Delegate interventions to qualified assistants, ensuring appropriate skill level and competency.
- Provide assessments, consultations, and treatments based on clinical protocols and departmental policies.
- Support staff development and process improvements through project participation.
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.
- 2-5 years of experience; supervision experience not required.
- Board Certification and Licensure in area of expertise.
- Preferred:
Master’s Degree.
