Join a collaborative Anatomic Pathology team at Missouri Baptist Medical Center as a Surgical Pathology Technical Coordinator. This leadership-focused role provides technical support, assists with daily operations, mentors staff, and helps ensure efficient workflow throughout the department.
Schedule:
- Monday-Friday
- 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide bench-level support within Anatomic Pathology.
- Coordinate daily workflow and staff schedules.
- Assess and prioritize workload.
- Train and mentor new team members.
- Support operational excellence and quality patient care.
Qualifications:
- CT(ASCP) certification required.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant laboratory experience required.
- 2+ years of experience preferred.
- Cytology or Cytotechnologist experience preferred.

Preferred QualificationsRole Purpose
Performs all duties of a cytotechnologist or histotechnologist/histotechnician, utilizing the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively meet the needs of all patients and clients by providing quality results in a timely manner. Provides daily operational oversight (determine schedules, manage day to day workflow, and give input into an assessment or disciplinary action). Provides technical support to all bench level positions within Anatomic Pathology.
May be responsible for one or more technical areas of focus, to include training, quality assurance, and technical support.
