This position involves the careful transportation of sealed medical instruments between various clinics and sterile processing departments, ensuring all items are handled with the utmost care and according to safety protocols.

As a Medical Instrument Courier, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering sealed, sterilized medical instrument containers, maintaining proper temperature and humidity conditions, and managing allergy serum transport to off-site clinics. Additionally, you will handle the secure transport of safety deposit bags to banking institutions and provide non-emergency patient transportation within the regional healthcare network.

A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred. Basic literacy skills to read, write, and follow instructions are essential.

At least one year of experience in a service-related field is preferred, with a strong emphasis on healthcare or public transportation experience. Excellent customer service skills are a must.

Current American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and annual driver's exam. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance. Mental acuity to follow written and verbal instructions and learn transportation policies. Annual physical and eye examinations.

This role may require extended periods of standing, walking, or sitting in a vehicle. You will interact with outpatients and occasionally face challenging conditions during transportation duties.
