Role:
Associate Histology Technician supporting tissue processing and analysis in a research laboratory setting.
Responsibilities: perform tissue trimming, identify anatomical landmarks, record observations, operate and calibrate tissue processing equipment, document study activities for compliance, and maintain organized study data and specimens. Communicate protocol deviations and adhere to safety protocols.
Requirements: college diploma or equivalent science coursework; lab experience preferred; proficiency with Microsoft Office; organizational skills; ability to work independently.
High Value: laboratory histology, tissue trimming, laboratory equipment operation, compliance documentation, potentially hazardous biological materials.
Work Setup: primarily interior lab environment; safety-sensitive with exposure to chemicals and bio-hazards; work may involve handling sharps and hazardous materials; physical activity involves working with biological specimens.
