Key Responsibilities- Lead and support oncology services with innovative leadership to achieve positive patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with medical teams to plan, organize, and oversee quality outcomes, risk management, patient safety, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage departmental operations including personnel evaluation, training, and motivation, ensuring clear accountability.
- Develop and review policies and procedures to meet organizational goals and recommend improvements to executive leadership.
- Utilize strategic planning and research to make informed decisions aligned with healthcare system objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with referring centers, providers, and affiliated programs to enhance patient care and outreach.
- Drive employee engagement through effective strategies and promote service excellence for patients, visitors, and staff.
- Oversee community education, screening activities, and program growth initiatives.
A bachelor's degree in a related field is required. A master's degree such as an MBA or MHA is preferred.
ExperienceAt least five years of managerial experience in healthcare or oncology services is essential. Proven skills in communication, organization, interpersonal relations, and customer service are necessary.
Requirements- Knowledge of regulatory guidelines including TJC, OSHA, and health services regulations.
- Strong business planning and program development capabilities with a history of quality clinical service growth.
- Ability to maintain focus during intense periods and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to move throughout the facility and perform tasks involving standing, walking, sitting, and light lifting.
