Travel CT Technologist - CT Scan

American Traveler is hiring a night-shift CT/X-ray Technologist with at least 1 year of CT and X-ray experience for a radiology department serving outpatient and ED patients.

• BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum of 1 year of CT and X-ray experience required
• Able to perform CT and radiographic diagnostic procedures independently without constant supervision
• Responsible for preparing orders and finalizing exams within the EMR

• Radiology department with 8 inpatient beds, mainly serving outpatient and ED patients
• Patient ratio of 1:1
• CT equipment:
  Toshiba
• EMR:
  Epic
• Night shift, 3x12 schedule
• Normally no call requirement
• Float requirement between CT and X-ray
• Works independently for part of the shift
• Transports patients between ED and Radiology
• Black scrubs required; no non-Mercy branded t-shirts permitted
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, exemptions must be client approved
• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment
• Accepts local candidates, though bill rate is reduced for those within 50 miles of the facility
• Local candidates within 50 miles are limited to 3 consecutive 13-week contracts before requiring a 1-year break or facility change
• No employment gaps of 90+ days within the past 12 months
