Support and contribute to the development of the student athlete’s spiritual growth and athletic well-being in conjunction with the mission of the athletic department.

Oversee and manage all aspects of the Jessup Athletic Training department ensuring compliance with California State Law, NCAA, NATA, Pac West Conference, and University guidelines, policies and procedures.

Supervise assistant athletic training staff, and interns when applicable.

Ensure all Jessup athletic events are adequately staffed with Athletic Training resources. This includes camps, clinics, home games, and away events as needed.

Manage relationships with medical providers in the local area and coordinate annual student‑athlete physical examinations as well as medical referrals when needed.

Coordinate and collect all health and medical insurance records and documentation for all current student athletes, as well as assist student‑athletes with athletic insurance documents and questions, and maintain HIPAA/FERPA standards for student‑athlete privacy/protection.

Develop and oversee management of athletic training inventory and equipment as well as manage department budgeting.

Coordinate with the Performance Coach and Assistant Athletic Trainers to oversee the design and administration of rehabilitation and injury prevention education programs for student athletes and Coaches.

Coordinate with Jessup Director of Student Care regarding mental health resources including counseling and education to student‑athletes.

Attend staff development meetings as directed.

Responsible to complete other duties as assigned by the athletic director
