This is a full-time Monday-Friday 5:00 am - 5:00 pm or 5:00pm - 5:00am position located at one of our industrial client sites in the Holly Springs, NC area.

• Make appointments for the personnel attending the clinic
• Register personnel visiting the facility for consultation
• Prepare required files
• Manage and control the completion and filing of medical records
• Prepared correspondence and reports
• Maintain training records
• Verifies patient information, medical histories by interviewing patients, documenting medical history, and confirming purpose of visit;
  Updates patients' files
• Prepares patients for examination by performing preliminary physical tests; drug & alcohol screening, pulmonary function test, respirator fit test; and reporting patient history summary
• Assist in injury care
• Assist practitioners during medical examinations
• Explain medical testing to patients
• Takes patient vitals
• Performs phlebotomy service and gives injections
• Handle any necessary injections (will be trained)
• Conduct EKG's
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock, placing orders, and verifying receipt
• Sterilize medical instruments and equipment
• Enters patient data into EMR and assist NP/Paramedics onsite with Medical Record Keeping & Data Entry

Required Skills and Knowledge

• High school diploma or equivalent Medical Assistant certificate or diploma required

• Basic computer, clerical, phone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Must be dependable and reliable
• Teamwork is a MUST
• Ability to multitask and follow instructions in a fast paced environment
• Must be able to pass a DISA Drug Screen and Background Check

• 2+ years of working experience as a Medical Assistant required
• DOT drug screen trained (preferred)
• Occupational Medicine experience (preferred)
  Experience completing drug & alcohol testing (preferred)
• Breath Alcohol Testing and Urine Specimen Collector (can provide training)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (an asset)

• Must be a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) or equivalent

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 60.0 - 72.0 per week
