Laboratory Assistant II​/Glasswasher - Molecular Microbiology

Responsible for washing the department’s glassware and autoclaving dry ware, liquids, and biohazard waste.

• Collects glassware from labs.
• Loads into washer, wash, dry and wrap with saran wrap.
• Washes and dries by hand all plasticware.
• Separates to autoclave dry ware.
• Returns to labs and places on shelves.
• Washes, dries, plugs and autoclaves pipettes from each lab.
• Maintains stock for labs.
• Autoclaves liquids and biohazard waste from labs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Grade R03-H Salary Range $16.27 - $20.83 / Hourly
