POSITION:

Medical Science Director

Candidates with exceptional experience and qualifications may be considered for appointment at the Senior Medical Science Director level. The final title and compensation will be determined based on the selected candidate's experience, qualifications, and alignment with the scope and responsibilities of the applicable level.

Reporting to the Sr. Director, Field Medical Affairs Lead, the Medical Science Director (MSD) is a field-based scientific professional responsible for supporting medical affairs activities across oncology, infectious disease, nephrology, acute care, and related therapeutic areas through compliant scientific exchange, insight gathering, and cross-functional collaboration. The MSD serves as a scientific resource to healthcare providers (HCPs), key opinion leaders (KOLs), pharmacy stakeholders, and institutional decision-makers across inpatient and outpatient healthcare settings.

This role supports both commercialized and pipeline products through clinical engagement, medical education, evidence communication, and healthcare ecosystem collaboration.

The MSD will contribute to medical affairs initiatives by identifying and communicating clinical insights, supporting evidence generation activities, and helping facilitate effective scientific engagement across healthcare systems and treatment settings.

This is a field-based position supporting a territory throughout California. Candidates must reside in California .

Preference will be given to candidates with convenient access to major healthcare systems and regional travel hubs within the territory.
