Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and
  
  Experience:
  
  Missouri State License; 1 year of PT experience required; new graduates with Level II experience are acceptable; experience in long-term care or rehab settings preferred.
• Schedule:
  
  Day shift, 8 hours per shift, minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities:
  Screen, evaluate, and treat patients with physical functioning disorders and wound care, utilizing standardized assessments and evidence-based practices; administer procedures such as manual techniques, therapeutic exercises, modalities, use of supportive and assistive devices, and wound care.
• Monitoring and Documentation:
  Assess patient progress, document all clinical and regulatory information in electronic health records, and evaluate treatment outcomes.
• Collaboration:
  
  Communicate effectively with team members, provide consultation and counseling to patients and families, and participate in patient care conferences and meetings.
• Supervision:
  Support supervision of physical therapist assistants, rehabilitation aides, and students.
• Additional Requirements:
  
  Ability to obtain necessary DME or supplies, adherence to practice acts, ethics, and regulations.
