Senior MRI Technologist
- Operating Room (Day Shift) for Barnes-Jewish Hospital
- New Plaza West Tower (St. Louis, MO)

  Hours:
  
  3 days per week at 12 hour shifts
• Interventional & surgical MRI procedures, providing critical imaging support across a variety of OR cases
• Advanced Modality Technologist position
• Surgical environment
• Siemens MRI Machines
• Training for position will be on day shift at 5 days per week for about 3 months before moving to the 3 days per week rotating schedule

• Associate degree or higher in related field
• Certification as a Registered Technologist in Radiography - R.T.(R) and/or MR
• 2 years' experience

• MRI and/or OR experience (preferred)
• Experienced MRI Technologists welcome to apply

Performs all responsibilities of a Advanced Modality Technologist and assumes responsibilities of the Lead Tech in their absence. Assists in the development and training of students and/or new employees. Senior Advance Modality Technologist must have 3 or more responsibilities within the following categories: hospital/department initiatives, patient experience and employee engagement, quality assurance, process improvement and mentorship. Performs all responsibilities under the direction of lead/charge of advanced modality technologist.

Prepares patient and equipment for procedures. Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area. Assists with regulatory compliance for the department (ACR, JC). Maintains up-to-date regulatory information. Oversees department quality assurance program under the direction of the Clinical Instructor or Lead/Charge.
