Qualicare KC Home Care is seeking a Late Morning to Early Afternoon Care Assistant Needed – Private In-Home Care (Kearney, MO. Area). We are seeking a reliable and compassionate Care Assistant to support a wonderful adult client in her home in Kearney, MO.

Position Requirements:

• Ability to bend, kneel, squat, and assist with transfers safely
• Strong bedside manner and respectful communication
• Dependable and punctual — reliability is crucial, as this is part of a 24/7 care schedule
• Compassionate, patient, and attentive

Responsibilities:

• Be caring and compassionate toward clients and their caretakers.
• Show up on TIME!
• Assistance with personal care and hygiene, including incontinence briefs etc.
• Meal Preparation
• Light Housekeeping
• Accompany clients on outings
• Shopping and errands
• Medication Assist/Reminders
• Ambulation and transporting of clients
• Provide companionship to clients
• Ability to follow care-plan

Requirements:

• Experience in life with Caregiving or professionally
• Must be 18 years or older
• Must hold a valid Driver's License
• Demonstrate good judgment when dealing with patients, visitors, families, and co-workers

Compensation: $16.50 - $18.00 per hour
