The Clinical Population Health Care Management Branch at the Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) is seeking a dynamic Section Chief who is passionate about improving care management services and driving meaningful change in a start-up like environment. This position plays a key role in monitoring and operations of Enhanced Care Management (ECM), implementation of Fee-for-Service Care Management, and other Population Health Management policies.

The Enhanced Care Management Section Chief will providing strategic leadership and statewide program oversight to ensure consistent, effective implementation and operations of care management services and other PHM policies. Ideal candidates will possess excellent analytical skills, cross stakeholder coordination, superb project management skills, thrive in a fast-paced setting, and be eager to help DHCS grow and enhance the quality of its population health programs.

• Experience developing, implementing, & monitoring health policy, preferably within Medi-Cal.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, including ability to use dashboards, or program analytics to inform decision.
