Medication Care Manager – Senior Living

The Medication Aide/Med Tech is responsible for administering medications and treatments to residents accurately and safely, ensuring dignity and adherence to regulatory standards.

• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
• Follow the Six Rights of Medication Administration
• Document all medication activities accurately in MAR/TAR in real-time
• Observe residents during and after medication passes for any changes or concerns
• Monitor symptoms and administer medications for symptom relief as ordered
• Report refusals, concerns, or adverse reactions promptly
• Complete narcotic counts per policy and maintain medication carts and rooms
• Adhere to infection control and safety standards to ensure resident safety

• High School Diploma or GED, age 18+
• CPR and First Aid certifications
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Preferred experience in senior care

This role plays a vital part in preventing medication errors, early identification of health changes, and promoting resident safety through detailed attention and compliance.
