Job Summary

The Universal Overnight Flex Position is a versatile role responsible for maintaining smooth hotel operations during overnight hours. This position combines front desk and audit duties with light security oversight, housekeeping assistance, and laundry responsibilities to ensure a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for all guests.

Key Responsibilities Guest Services & Front Desk Operations
  • Greet, check in, and assist guests with professionalism and.
  • Manage phone calls, reservations, and guest inquiries.
  • Process late arrivals, early departures, and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
Night Audit & Financial Reporting
  • Perform nightly revenue audits and reconcile all daily cash and credit transactions.
  • Prepare end-of-day financial reports for management.
  • Post room charges, adjustments, and other transactions accurately.
Security & Safety Monitoring
  • Conduct regular property walkthroughs to ensure guest and staff safety.
  • Respond to noise complaints or disturbances professionally.
  • Secure entrances and restricted areas during overnight hours.
Housekeeping & Laundry Support
  • Maintain cleanliness in public spaces, lobby areas, and back offices.
  • Assist with laundry operations, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
  • Replenish guest and housekeeping supplies as needed for the next day’s operations.
Qualifications
  • Prior hotel, customer service, or night audit experience preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Basic math and computer skills; familiarity with property management systems a plus.
  • Good communication and problem-solving abilities.
  • Must be able to stand and move for extended periods and perform light physical work.
