Overview
Core Hotels, LLC is in search of an experienced General Manager for the Aloft Hotel – Opening Q2 of 2026 in El Dorado Hills, California. Located in the El Dorado Hills Town Center, this property will feature 115 guestrooms, meeting facilities, and a food & beverage outlet. This is a full-time salaried position responsible for the hotel's overall operational and financial success.
The successful candidate will manage hotel personnel, ensure guest satisfaction, oversee all aspects of income generation and cost control, and maximize profitability.
Compensation for this position starts at $85,000 and may reach the $115,000 range per year, based on experience, and will be paid biweekly. Responsibilities- Assist in the Pre
- Opening brand timelines - Assists in the selection of property team members
- Manage, train, and motivate hotel staff, providing guidance and direction to ensure high standards of service, productivity, and quality of work
- Ensure promotion and maintenance of high hotel standards, including training and customer service
- Monitor all areas of work and ensure that performance levels comply with company policies and standards
- Develop strategies to increase the profitability of the hotel and ensure its financial stability
- Oversee the preparation of detailed and accurate financial reports in the form of budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
- Proactively identify and resolve issues, while maintaining communication with other departments
- Analyze operational and sales data to ensure profitable and efficient operations
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Pre-opening experience required
- Prior GM experience in like-sized Marriott, select service, or full service properties
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality or related field
- Experience in hotel/restaurant management for 5+ years
- Proficiency in using a wide variety of software systems, including MS Office, point of sale systems, M3, and financial analysis tools
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
- Qualifications in health and safety, crisis management, and food and beverage will be an advantage
