About this Position

Hotel Equities, a multi‑award‑winning hotel development and hospitality management company, is currently searching for a remarkable PM Dishwasher for the Hilton Frontenac in St. Louis, MO.

Operates the dishwasher to properly clean all dishes and cooking utensils used in the kitchens, restaurants and banquet areas. Scrubs pots, repairs, restocks supplies, and performs general kitchen cleaning duties including floor mopping and trash removal.

• Wash dishes and other cooking utensils. Restock all clean glasses, silverware and plates.
• Perform general cleaning to stay in compliance with the health department.
• Put away food stock and dry goods in their proper location, rotating “first in, first out.”
• Remove trash from all containers, taking it to the dumpster located on the loading dock.
• Work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
• Perform general/routine cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products as assigned to adhere to health standards.
• Clean up unexpected spills or execute special guest requests as requested.

• Good working knowledge of accepted sanitation standards.
• Knowledge of operating a dishwasher, floor stripper, buffer.
• Ability to read, write and speak English to read labels and communicate with other team members.
• Ability to work in confined spaces.
• Ability to perform duties within extreme temperature ranges.
• Manual dexterity to load and unload the dishwasher and handle kitchen equipment, knives, slicing blades, etc.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Some work experience in a related field preferred. Some hospitality experience preferred.

The role requires the employee to be able to perform the essential functions including frequent walking, climbing stairs, crouching/bending, reaching, grasping, pushing/pulling, and lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs. Sitting is rare, traveling is never required.

$16.00 per hour.
