Location: California

Located in Johnson City, Texas, Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa offers authentic Texan hospitality. The resort features a winery, restaurant/brewery, banquets and special events within a hospitality group with 25 years of experience.

SUMMARY

Carter Creek Winery Resort & Spa is currently hiring for Front Desk Agent. The ideal candidate will maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor at all times. Greet guests by name and ensure all guests feel welcomed to the property. Prior hospitality experience preferred. Must be proficient with computers and able to learn hotel industry software.

DUTIES
  • Register guests and assign rooms, including check‑in and check‑out processes.
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by responding to inquiries with accurate information and a positive attitude.
  • Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
  • Respond to phone calls, retrieve guest mail, faxes, and packages.
  • Promote hotel amenities and services using personal knowledge and effective selling techniques.
  • Welcome and effectively resolve guest questions, issues, and complaints with supervisor assistance as needed.
  • Provide constant and consistent communication with other departments, supervisors, and managers to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Handle cash, credit card, and other financial transactions such as posting charges for room, food, wine to ledger.
  • Compute or adjust bills, collect payment, and make changes for guests.
JOB KNOWLEDGE
  • Previous hotel experience preferred.
