Position: Attendant - Beverage (Part-Time)
Location: California

The Beverage Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of the casino floor by removing used glassware, trash, and other debris. This position plays a key role in supporting 4-Diamond cleanliness standards and delivering a positive guest experience by keeping beverage service areas clean, stocked, and clutter‑free.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Removes used glassware, plastic bottles, paper cups, and general trash from guest areas on the casino floor.
  • Collects and replaces dirty ashtrays with clean, empty ones.
  • Washes used beverage glassware using designated dishwashing equipment.
  • Empties trash bins and disposes of waste materials as needed.
  • Maintains cleanliness and organization of assigned areas according to departmental standards.
  • Provides courteous and professional guest service during all interactions.
  • Communicates effectively with team members to ensure smooth floor operations.
  • Verifies guest identification to ensure compliance with alcohol service laws and adheres to all ABC regulations, RBS training standards, and internal policies.
  • Performs other job‑related duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but may provide guidance or support to other team members.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must be 21 years of age to work in the Beverage Department.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and team members.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and lift consistently throughout the shift.
  • High regard for cleanliness, safety, and guest service.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Additional coursework in hospitality or customer service is a plus.
  • Minimum of 6 months to 1 year of experience in a food and beverage, hospitality, or customer service role.
  • Experience handling beverages, stocking, and maintaining cleanliness in service areas preferred.
  • Strong guest service skills with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and follow safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Prior experience in a casino, restaurant, or hospitality environment is preferred.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS

Must have successfully completed a background check and obtained a gaming license issued by the Morongo Gaming Agency, as required.

Must be able to read and interpret documents in English, such as instructions, guidelines, policies, and procedures. Must also be able to communicate clearly and effectively with team members, management, and guests.

    Must be able to communicate clearly and courteously with guests, beverage supervisors, bartenders, and other team members; responsible for responding to guest requests and ensuring timely restocking and service support.
  • Lifting and Carrying: Frequently lifts and carries beverage cases, kegs, ice buckets, glassware, and supply boxes weighing up to 50 pounds; may involve overhead lifting and maneuvering in tight storage areas.
  • Manual Dexterity: Regularly uses hands and fingers to stock supplies, handle glassware, operate cleaning tools, and organize storage areas with speed and accuracy.
  • Mobility: Continuously moves throughout service areas, bars, storage rooms, and back‑of‑house spaces; requires walking, standing, bending, lifting, and reaching for extended periods.
  • Stationary Work: Rarely remains seated; duties require constant movement during shifts to support bar and banquet operations.
  • Tool Operation: Frequent use of beverage service carts, hand trucks, cleaning tools, glass racks, and other beverage equipment; may occasionally operate POS or inventory systems.
  • Visual Acuity: Requires near vision to verify labels, inspect cleanliness, organize inventory, and ensure proper placement of products and supplies.
