Public Area Attendant

Public Area Attendant ensures the cleanliness and perfection of the guest areas of the hotel and residences. The role also supports back‑of‑house cleanliness such as employee lockers, hallways and service elevators.

• Maintain supplies and clean all public areas of the hotel, including staff areas as assigned.
• Maintain and clean public washrooms, checking each washroom at least every hour.
• Dust all tables, lamps, ledges, marble in lobby and all surfaces.
• Clean all glass doors and mirrors in public areas.
• Assist guests by answering questions.
• Clean telephones.
• Ensure supplies such as pens, pencils, memo pads, directories, ashtrays and matches are available.
• Make routine checks of all public areas to ensure cleanliness and neatness.
• Empty ashtrays and keep surfaces clean and stamp with logo as required.
• Clean employees’ washrooms on all floors, including the pool area.
• Create work orders for any deficiencies and forward them to the Housekeeping Department.
• Check elevators regularly, clean carpets, mirrors and polish brass as required.
• Every hour, check driveway and sidewalks for cleanliness.
• Maintain a high standard of personal appearance by keeping the uniform clean and presentable at all times.
• Obtain a master key at the start of duty; report any loss of key immediately to supervisor and security, and return the key before leaving the property.
• Perform any other duties as specified by the supervisor.

• Preferred experience in a luxury hotel housekeeping role with Four Seasons or a comparable organization.
• Knowledge and ability to operate cleaning equipment.
• Working knowledge of English.
• Ability to assist with responsibilities in the absence of or during heavy volume in all areas of housekeeping and laundry coverage.
• Perform other tasks or projects as assigned by management.
• Position is not eligible for work sponsorship or visa; candidates must possess valid U.S. work authorization.

• Hourly wage: $26.52.
