Job SummaryThis position would be ideal for a candidate who is ready to engage a rewarding, long‑term private club career! Possessing exceptional friendliness and verbal communication skills, this individual will develop and maintain respectful, (yet professional), relationships with a highly engaged golfing membership here at Algonquin.
Primary Responsibilities- Manage services of members and guests in main clubhouse locker rooms.
- Maintain orderly and high standards of cleanliness and readiness.
- Greet members and their guests – assuring that member satisfaction standards are consistently attained.
- Execute shoeshine services.
- Perform sanitation duties of locker rooms.
- Ensure the safety and security of all members’ and guests’ personal property.
- Issue lockers, keys, towels, etc. to members as needed.
- Maintain a list of occupied lockers; provide a billing list to the accounting office.
- Maintain an inventory of supplies, toiletries, and neatly folded towels.
- Receive and greet members and guests by name.
- Inspect locker area to ensure proper appearance, maintenance, cleanliness, and safety.
- Work with management to resolve all member and guest complaints.
- Assure that tasks are completed as required.
- Maintain and stock refreshment stations in locker rooms.
- Ensure that shoe cleaning/shining services are carried through in a timely, attentive, and professional manner.
- Enforce established rules, regulations, and policies – as directed by the Board of Directors.
- Assure that all safety, accident and emergency policies and procedures are in place and consistently followed.
- Communicate with Pro Shop regularly (and via Clubessential) to know who is playing.
- Assign and professionally label lockers for guests during tournaments.
- Complete other appropriate assignments directed by the Clubhouse Manager.

Qualifications- Candidate should have 5 years of customer experience in the hospitality industry.
- Committed to cleanliness and high levels of personal and professional hygiene.
- Natural ability to smile often, while maintaining positive eye contact with members and coworkers.
