Join Rombauer Vineyards as a Tasting Room Assistant (Retail Service Support Worker) and play an essential role in creating exceptional guest experiences. In this hands‑on position, you will help maintain a welcoming, organized, and customer‑focused environment while supporting tasting room operations, retail sales, and hospitality experiences. Your work will ensure that visitors enjoy memorable interactions that reflect our commitment to quality, service, and hospitality.

You will support daily tasting room activities by keeping work spaces stocked, clean, and guest‑ready, assisting with product merchandising, maintaining inventory displays, and helping prepare for guest visits and special events. You will also collaborate with teammates to welcome guests, support reservations and retail transactions, and provide information that enhances the overall winery experience.

• High school diploma or State‑issued equivalency certificate.
• Experience in a team‑oriented environment.
• Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
• Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
• Skilled in carrying‑out simple instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Required to be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Required to work holidays, evenings and weekends. Work schedule subject to change based on needs of the business.
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs.
• Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
• Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

• Associate’s degree; OR High school diploma or State‑issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of hospitality or customer service experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
• Experience in wine industry.
• Experience in Point of Sale (Commerce 7 and Tock) systems.
• Skilled in the use of MS Outlook and MS Excel at a basic level.
