Responsibilities include:
  • Lead daily Front Desk operations during assigned shifts while maintaining high standards of guest service and professionalism.
  • Train, coach, and support Front Desk associates on hotel procedures, guest interactions, brand standards, and service expectations.
  • Assist with onboarding new associates and provide ongoing performance feedback and development.
  • Welcome guests and complete efficient check-in and check-out procedures when needed.
  • Support reservation management, room assignments, rate accuracy, and guest requests.
  • Handle escalated guest concerns, service recovery situations, and special requests with professionalism and urgency.
  • Monitor Front Desk cash handling procedures, credit card transactions, deposits, and financial accuracy.
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, safety procedures, and brand operating standards.
  • Maintain knowledge of room inventory, hotel services, local attractions, and promotions.
  • Assist with upselling opportunities, loyalty program enrollment, and revenue-generating initiatives.
  • Communicate effectively with Housekeeping, Engineering, Sales, and hotel leadership to ensure seamless daily operations.
  • Complete shift reports, logs, audits, and other Front Office documentation accurately.
  • Support scheduling, shift coverage, and operational planning as directed by Front Office leadership.
  • Monitor the cleanliness, organization, and professional appearance of the Front Desk and lobby areas.
  • Assist with emergency situations and follow established safety and security procedures.
  • Perform additional responsibilities and special projects assigned by hotel leadership.
What You Bring:
  • Previous hotel Front Desk, Guest Services, or hospitality experience required.
  • Previous leadership, supervisory, or training experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Front Office operations, guest service standards, and hotel procedures.
  • Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS), reservations, and basic computer applications preferred.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Ability to lead, motivate associates, and create a positive team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities.
  • Experience in handling cash, credit card transactions, and financial procedures preferred.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and varying shifts.
Physical Requirements:

This position requires frequent standing, walking, reaching, bending, and repetitive use of hands throughout the workday. Candidates should be able to lift and move up to 25 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation. Work is primarily performed indoors in a hotel environment and may involve moderate noise levels and continuous interaction with guests and associates.
