# Hotel Room Attendant / Camarista Skyview - Los Alamos, CA 93440## Overview Salary Range $17.00 - $19.00 Hourly## Description The Room Attendant at Skyview Los Alamos is responsible for maintaining clean, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas in accordance with Skyview's quality and brand standards. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, efficiency, and a commitment to cleanliness to ensure guests receive a consistently exceptional experience.

Through comprehensive training, established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and other operational systems, Room Attendants play a vital role in upholding the hotel's service standards and creating a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities and Duties
* Cleaning all bathroom surfaces with no visible residue or hair left
* Cleaning floors, furniture and windows
* Making beds with sheets, pillows, duvets and blankets to company standards
* Ensure linen and trash is taken away from rooms and disposed of to large bins
* Ability to work independently in rooms and as a part of a team in laundry and folding
* Take inventory of missing room items for Guest Service Agents to charge the guest
* Communicate urgent maintenance to management
* Foresee operational deficiencies, potential problems and communicate possible solutions to management
* Work productively and develop professionally throughout shifts
* Other duties may be asked of this position by management occasionally

Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time, up to the duration of a scheduled shift
* Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor environments and tolerate varying weather conditions while navigating throughout the property and between the laundry room and guest rooms.
* Ability to frequently bend, kneel, stoop, crouch, reach, stretch, and twist throughout the duration of a scheduled shift while cleaning guest rooms and other assigned areas.
* Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds on a regular basis and occasionally move items weighing up to 75 pounds, including linens, cleaning supplies, equipment, and furniture.
* Ability to use hands and arms continuously to operate cleaning equipment, handle housekeeping tools and supplies, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks requiring manual dexterity and coordination.
* Ability to perform repetitive physical movements throughout the workday while maintaining attention to detail and quality standards.

Responsabilidades y Deberes
* Limpiar todas las superficies de los baños, asegurando que no queden residuos visibles ni cabello.
* Limpiar pisos, muebles y ventanas.
* Tender las camas con sábanas, almohadas, edredones y cobijas de acuerdo con los estándares de la empresa.
* Retirar la ropa de cama sucia y la basura de las habitaciones y desecharlas en los contenedores designados.
* Trabajar de manera independiente en la limpieza de habitaciones y colaborar con el equipo en las labores de lavandería y doblado de ropa.
* Realizar el inventario de los artículos faltantes en las habitaciones para que el personal de Recepción pueda realizar el cargo correspondiente al huésped.
* Comunicar de inmediato al gerente cualquier necesidad urgente de mantenimiento.
* Identificar deficiencias operativas, anticipar posibles problemas y comunicar soluciones a la gerencia.
