Barnett Vineyards is a family-owned and operated luxury winery perched atop Spring Mountain in Napa Valley. Founded in 1983 by Fiona and Hal Barnett, the estate has spent more than four decades crafting world-class, mountain-grown wines, with Cabernet Sauvignon at its core alongside a collection of acclaimed single-vineyard varietals. From its founding, Barnett Vineyards has remained dedicated to exceptional quality, thoughtful craftsmanship, and genuine hospitality.

Primary

Responsibilities
  • Deliver personalized tasting experiences while educating guests on our wines, vineyards, and winemaking philosophy.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with guests and members through personalized hospitality and service.
  • Drive wine sales and wine club memberships through confident, service-focused recommendations.
  • Process wine purchases, memberships, reservations, and customer information accurately through POS and CRM systems.
  • Respond professionally to guest inquiries by phone and email, assisting with reservations, orders, and membership questions.
  • Maintain tasting areas to the highest standards and assist with opening, closing, and daily operations.
  • Support winery events, inventory counts, and other hospitality and administrative projects as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, winery sales, or premium customer service.
  • Passion for wine and delivering exceptional guest experiences.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and achieve sales goals.
  • Strong communication, organization, and attention to detail.
  • Working knowledge of wine, viticulture, and winemaking. (WSET & Sommelier accreditation is a plus.)
  • Proficiency with CRM/POS systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Availability to work Wednesday through Sunday.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift and move wine cases up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work occasional winery events and busy hospitality weekends.
  • Valid California driver's license preferred.
