Summary

The Taskforce Hotel Manager is a temporary position that includes onsite housing and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the property and ensuring a consistently exceptional guest experience throughout the assignment. This is a hands-on management position requiring strong leadership, sound judgment, flexibility, and a willingness to work alongside the team in all areas of hotel operations.

The Temporary Live-In Hotel Manager will supervise and support front desk, housekeeping, laundry, kitchen, maintenance, and other property operations; respond to guest needs and operational issues; maintain appropriate staffing and service standards; and ensure that company policies, procedures, safety standards, and Four Sisters Inns' core values are consistently followed.

Because this is a live-in position, the manager will be available to respond to property needs outside of scheduled working hours when necessary. The manager is expected to maintain professional boundaries between work and personal time while ensuring appropriate after-hours coverage and responding to urgent guest or property matters.

This position is expected be potentially 30 days or more , depending on the Company's operational needs. The temporary assignment may end at any time based on business needs, staffing, or other operational considerations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Hotel Operations & Leadership

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property and ensure the hotel is operating efficiently, professionally, and in accordance with Four Sisters Inns' standards.

Directly supervise and support property staff, including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Laundry, Housepersons, Maintenance, Kitchen, and other assigned team members.

Maintain clear, professional, and respectful communication with all team members.

Establish daily priorities and ensure appropriate staffing and coverage across departments.

Monitor operational performance and address issues promptly and appropriately.

Provide guidance, coaching, and direction to employees and elevate significant performance or employee-relations matters to FSI management.

Assist with training and onboarding of team members as needed.

Ensure employees follow Four Sisters Inns policies, procedures, safety requirements, and service standards.

Work collaboratively with other Four Sisters Inns managers and corporate leadership.

Hands-On Property Support

The Temporary Live-In Hotel Manager is expected to be a hands-on leader and may be required to perform operational duties in any department based on business needs, including:

Assisting with front desk and guest services.

Cleaning and resetting guest rooms.

Assisting with laundry and stocking supplies and amenities.

Preparing and delivering breakfast baskets.

Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and organization.

Assisting with afternoon wine and cheese service.

Assisting with minor maintenance tasks and identifying maintenance needs.

Maintaining clean, organized, and guest-ready common areas.

Supporting the team during periods of high occupancy, staffing shortages, or unexpected operational needs.

Performing other operational duties as assigned.

Property Maintenance & Safety

Monitor the condition of guest rooms, common areas, service areas, grounds, and other property facilities.

Identify maintenance issues and coordinate appropriate repairs or service.

Obtain bids and coordinate small improvement projects as directed.

Ensure preventative maintenance recommendations are implemented.

Ensure equipment and materials are used safely and appropriately.

Follow established safety procedures and ensure employees do the same.

Ensure health and safety requirements are consistently followed.
