Job Description Summary
The Porter plays an important role in supporting the successful setup and breakdown of events at Loch Lloyd Country Club, ensuring event spaces are clean, organized, and ready for members and guests.
Job Description Event Setup and Tear Down- Assist with the setup and tear down of special events, including weddings, banquets, golf tournaments, and other club events.
- Ensure event spaces are clean, organized, and properly arranged according to event specifications.
- Set up and break down tables, chairs, linens, decorations, and event equipment as needed.
- Maintain an inventory of event supplies and equipment, ensuring items are clean, in good condition, and readily available for use.
- Report damaged, missing, or worn equipment to the supervisor for replacement or repair.
- Work closely with servers, bartenders, and other event staff to ensure events run smoothly and efficiently.
- Assist with member and guest requests and provide support to the event team as needed.
- Keep event spaces, service areas, and common areas clean and organized throughout events.
- Perform light cleaning duties, including sweeping, mopping, wiping surfaces, and removing trash.
- Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment throughout the club.
- Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service to Loch Lloyd Country Club members and guests.
- Answer questions and assist members and guests with directions or other needs as appropriate.
- Represent the Club in a professional and courteous manner.
- Help maintain a safe and secure environment for members, guests, and staff.
- Follow all Club safety procedures and guidelines.
- Report safety concerns, hazards, or incidents to the supervisor promptly.
- Must be available to work a flexible schedule based on event needs, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and occasional early mornings.
- Schedule may vary depending on the Club's event calendar and seasonal needs.
- Previous experience in event setup, hospitality, country club, hotel, restaurant, or a similar environment is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow event setup instructions.
- Ability to provide friendly and professional customer service.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move event equipment and supplies as required.
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team.
