General Manager

Sky Bridge Luxury & Associates is conducting a confidential search for an accomplished General Manager to lead a luxury resort in Northern California.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned luxury hospitality executive to assume leadership of a sophisticated, full-service property with a strong emphasis on exceptional service, memorable guest experiences, culinary excellence and wellness.

The General Manager will have full responsibility for the strategic direction, operational performance and culture of the resort, leading a talented executive team and partnering closely with ownership and key stakeholders. This individual will be expected to bring both the polish and service orientation of a luxury hotelier and the business acumen of an experienced operator.

We are seeking a highly visible and engaged leader who understands that luxury is created through consistency, personalization and attention to detail. The successful candidate will be equally comfortable engaging with guests and developing teams as they are reviewing financial performance, establishing strategic priorities and working alongside ownership.

• Provide strategic and operational leadership across all areas of the resort, including rooms, food & beverage, wellness, events and guest experience.
• Establish and maintain an elevated service culture consistent with the expectations of the luxury traveler.
• Lead, mentor and develop the executive leadership team while creating a culture of accountability, collaboration and genuine hospitality.
• Maintain a highly visible presence throughout the property and foster meaningful engagement with guests, team members and the surrounding community.
• Drive overall financial performance, profitability and long-term asset value through disciplined operational and commercial leadership.
• Partner with sales, marketing and revenue leadership to strengthen market positioning, optimize performance and identify new opportunities for growth.
• Provide strong leadership to a significant food & beverage operation while ensuring quality, creativity, consistency and financial performance.
• Champion a thoughtful approach to programming and guest experiences that strengthens the property's identity and creates meaningful points of differentiation.
• Ensure the highest standards of operational excellence, service delivery, property presentation and guest satisfaction.
• Build, retain and develop high-performing teams with a strong focus on leadership development and succession planning.
• Partner closely with ownership and key stakeholders on business strategy, capital priorities, financial performance and the continued evolution of the property.
• Serve as an ambassador for the resort while cultivating strong relationships within the local community and broader hospitality market.

We are seeking a sophisticated hospitality executive with significant luxury hotel experience and a demonstrated record of successfully leading complex, high-touch operations.

• Current or recent General Manager experience within the luxury hotel or resort sector.
• A strong foundation in luxury hospitality and a deep understanding of the service expectations of discerning leisure travelers.
• Proven success leading complex full-service operations with multiple revenue streams.
• Significant food & beverage experience and a genuine appreciation for the role culinary and beverage programming play in the overall guest experience.
• Strong financial and commercial acumen with demonstrated success driving revenue, profitability and overall asset performance.
• Experience partnering effectively with ownership groups and senior corporate leadership.
• The ability to build culture, inspire teams and develop strong leaders at all levels of an organization.
• A highly visible, hands-on and approachable leadership style.
• Strong strategic thinking combined with a willingness to remain closely connected to day-to-day operations.
• An appreciation for distinctive properties where design, sense of place, service and experience are central to the brand.
• Resort, independent or lifestyle luxury experience is highly desirable.
