The team at Margaritaville Lake Resort is here to create and deliver fun and escapism for our guests, and that means providing a clean, safe and comfortable environment for all guests. With good pay, extensive benefits and a family atmosphere, we are seeking an individual who can perform the physical task of sorting and folding industrial volumes of linens and towels.

Job Type: Full Time Pay $15.00 per hour

Must be at least 18 years of age

Reports to:

Laundry Supervisor/Housekeeping Managers/Executive Housekeeper As a Laundry Worker, you will operate industrial laundry machinery, fold and sort linens and towels.

Responsibilities include:

Sort dried articles according to identification number or type,Fold and place items in appropriate storage bins.

Sort and count articles to verify quantities on laundry lists.

Pre-treat stains with special solutions using safety precautions and proper procedures.

Check and clean all filters on washers and driers every two hours.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES Personal Skills Must have a comprehensive knowledge of the English language to effectively communicate with guests, associates, and vendors.

Ability to scrupulously follow all Driftwood and hotel policies and procedures.

Attend required meetings.

Projects and assignments are completed thoroughly, professionally, and with care.

Adjusts to high-pressure conditions and is open to change.

Assumes responsibility for personal growth and development.

Conducts him herself, acts and dresses professionally at all times.

Understands and communicates the Driftwood Mission.

Expresses ideas and conveys information clearly, effectively, and professionally.

Physical Requirements Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time, up to a 10-hour shift

Average lifting of 20 to 50 pounds.

Pushing, bending, stooping, upward reaching, manual dexterity.

Hearing Pushing and pulling of approximately 200 pounds.
