Recruiting Manager

Overview

Capital Vacations is seeking a Recruiting & Talent Acquisition Specialist to enhance our talent acquisition methods and strategies. The role involves finding, attracting, and hiring new talent to meet the company’s workforce needs and goals.

• Develop recruitment strategies to achieve required staffing levels.
• Meet with managers to develop specific recruiting plans.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with college, university, and community college placement offices to generate qualified applicants.
• Direct the efforts of employment agencies and search firms, including negotiating and controlling employment‑related fees.
• Schedule and attend job/career fairs with appropriate staff to generate qualified applicants.
• Provide information on company operations and job opportunities to potential applicants.
• Screens and refers qualified applicants to hiring manager for interviewing. May provide initial screening to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements.
• Arrange travel and lodging for applicants, if necessary.

• Demonstrate effective business and leadership skills.
• Identify which applicants are best suited for specific job roles and have the greatest potential for success.
• Apply proven strategies for attracting, assessing, and acquiring personnel.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Great interpersonal and communication skills.
• Understanding and familiarity with Recruitment Marketing.
• Experience in Employer Branding methods.
• Ability to scan large volumes of resumes.
• Ability and willingness to learn about the position requirements.
